The Monk 36 is a high quality, economical cruising Trawler. "Walkabout" is in excellent condition,has many nice updates and a must see if you are looking for a Trawler to do the Great Loop. If you are in the Houston area stop by and take a look at her. You will not be disappointed.

Accommodations
The master stateroom is located aft and down a few steps from the salon. It has the highly desired centerline walkaround berth with 2003 Englander mattress. To portside are large opening hanging lockers and the stbd side has drawer space. Additionally, to portside is a built in nightstand. The master head has a large shower stall/tub combination and the Jabsco head is new. The guest stateroom is located forward and has a V-berth, large storage locker and a new Jabsco unit in the head. Forward is an access hatch to the anchor locker. Port & stbd is a hullside bookshelf.
The salon has port & stbd sliding doors to the side decks. To port is a hi-lo L-settee, to stbd is the lower helm station with captains chair and the galley is located aft.
"Walkabout" has teak & holly soles, solid teak louvered doors and the interior has recently been tastefully updated with forest green upholstery and new curtains throughout.
Galley
The galley is located aft to stbd in the salon area. She is well equipped for preparing a full meal.
